ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Technical Test Analyst, english language

In this advanced ISTQB® training course everything revolves around the selection and application of the non-functional test methods as well as the procedures for white box testing. You will be able to structure defined test tasks with regard to technical requirements and to analyze the system-internal structure in order to achieve the expected quality level. We will show you how to meet the required technical quality expectations, how to evaluate security and performance,  how to perform the technical test activities and how to implement the right test techniques and tools.

The course teaches the curriculum contents of the ISTQB® within 3 days. We will show you the different procedures, techniques and tools for the non-functional system test and make sure that you can apply everything you have learned as a technical test analyst in your company. We will address the advantages and disadvantages of tool groups in greater detail and illustrate their main application areas. The course is accompanied by repetitions with regard to the terminology of testing and its basics.

The content corresponds to the curriculum published by the ISTQB®. Furthermore, our trainers practice with you as many hands-on scenarios as possible to help you apply the previously learned.

The course "ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Technical Test Analyst" (CTAL-TTA) is based on the basic CTFL course and is aimed at advanced participants who already have several years of practical experience. The course is suitable, on the one hand, to support one's own knowledge with more sound theoretical knowledge and, on the other hand, to gain deeper insights into test practices.

PrerequisitesBasic software knowledge and practical experience in IT projects are a prerequisite for the participation to ensure a deeper understanding of the content. To obtain the certification as "ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Technical Test Analyst", the basic certificate "ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level" requires at least 18 months of practical experience in software testing in addition to the successful final examination.

The participation in the exam is optional. We assume that you take the exam after the training course. However, please inform us during the course booking if you wish NOT to attend the exam.

The exam lasts 120 minutes and takes place immediately after the seminar on the last training course day. We organize your exam for you. The independent certification body charges 260,00 Euro plus VAT for the examination, which we invoice together with the training course fee.

With online training, you can choose the day and time of the exam. You can take the exam in a Pearson Vue test center or online on the Pearson Vue exam platform. For this purpose, you will receive an exam voucher from us, which is used in the payment process when booking.Please note, the ISTQB® CTFL certificate is mandatory to take the CTAL-TTA exam. Non-native speakers are eligible for additional exam time.
