Clear priorities enable project teams to work in alignment and avoid conflicts of objectives. Combined with precise wording, uncertainties can be minimized and risks reduced.

However, true mastery lies not only in establishing a solid starting point for a requirement, but in understanding its journey—guiding it throughout the entire development process and following up effectively when needed. This has two sides: tailoring communication appropriately from the sender’s perspective, and adapting, questioning, and implementing appropriately from the receiver’s side. Through effective collaboration, added value can be created that truly benefits stakeholders.

Participant prerequisites

• You should have basic knowledge of software architecture as taught in CPSA-F.

• Initial practical experience in developing software architectures and working with stakeholders is required.

• Knowledge of different types of requirements (functional and quality requirements) is helpful.

• Experience with iterative development processes and agile methods will ease entry into the course.

• A basic understanding of documentation techniques and tools for requirements engineering is an advantage.

Credit points for CPSA-A certificationWith the REQ4ARC training, participants earn 20 methodological and 10 communicative credit points according to the iSAQB Advanced Level program.
