Communicate Architecture Effectively and Document It for Your AudienceEven in complex projects, you can maintain a clear overview. During this training, you will learn how to document software architectures effectively, evaluate them for different target audiences, and communicate them clearly. The course covers not only technical aspects but also the essential organizational and social factors involved in architecture documentation.

The importance of good architecture documentation is often underestimated in new IT projects. Yet, documenting software architecture is crucial for understanding developments and changes throughout a project. It also supports communication within the project team as well as with clients and partners, making the design of the software system easier.

What to ExpectIn the “ADOC” module of the iSAQB Advanced Level, you will gain hands-on experience in creating, optimizing, and ensuring the quality of architecture documentation. You will learn about notations, tools, and methods for documenting architecture decisions and quality requirements and how to select the most appropriate tools. By the end of the module, you will be able to produce architecture documentation for medium to large IT systems.

Participant Requirements

• Experience collaborating on documentation is advantageous

• Familiarity with versioning and documentation processes eases the learning curve

• Knowledge of a specific technology, methodology, or programming language is helpful but not mandatory

Credit Points for CPSA-A CertificationParticipation in the ADOC training grants 20 Credit Points in the methodical area of the iSAQB Advanced-Level Program.
