SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) Seminar

The SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) is a servant leader with a broader systems view of the Scrum Master role. Participants will gain integrated practices to optimise the success of multiple teams, programmes and organisations in larger programmes. Advanced Scrum Masters can understand the Agile and Scrum anti-patterns and facilitate cross-team interactions to support programme execution and relentless improvement. Their experience and servant leadership helps teams optimise the flow and quality of work. This creates cohesive, high-performing Lean-Agile teams that deliver continuous value.

This course covers fostering cross-team interactions to support programme execution and relentless improvement. It extends the Scrum paradigm with an introduction to scalable engineering and DevOps practices; the use of Kanban to facilitate value flow; and supporting interactions with architects, product management and other critical stakeholders in the larger programme and enterprise context.

The seminar provides actionable tools for building high-performing teams and explores practical ways to address Agile and Scrum anti-patterns in an organisation.

Attending the course prepares participants to take the exam and become certified as a SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).

The target group for the Advanced Scrum Master Certification (SASM) includes experienced Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Project Managers and other professionals who already have in-depth knowledge of the Scrum framework and want to develop their skills at an advanced level. The training is aimed at people who want to further develop their expertise in agile team leadership, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
