In summary, the CPIM provides participants with the necessary insights into the interplay of different areas, which tools, approaches, technologies and specifications support the achievement of supply chain goals and thus help to increase customer satisfaction and increase company profits. Furthermore, participants will learn necessary, common terms and definitions to speak a common language in supply chain environments to enable improvement and change.
An official APICS exam must be taken to qualify as Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).
Tip: Studying with the CPIM Learning System increases your chances of passing the exam. On average, we recommend 60-80 hours of self study time in addition to the seminar participation.
A candidate who passes the CPIM exam will receive a personalized certificate "Certified in Planning and Inventory Management". The candidate is also entitled to use the acronym CPIM as a title.
