The ECHA/EFSA guidance for the identification of Endocrine Disruptors in the context of Regulations (EU) No 528/2012 and (EC) No 1107/2009 requires a highly complex and challenging assessment for all active substances. With the proposed introduction of stricter regulation for EDs under the CLP and REACH Regulations, the challenge has recently been broadened.
