People don’t like being told what to do. Ideally, they’d like to be given a reason to wanting to do it. This is why communicating persuasively is key to mobilizing energy towards a goal and thus to effective leadership.

Being persuasive, however, is a skill that needs to be honed. It is not enough to have the facts on your side and to be able to deliver a compelling argument based on them. Change is often met with resistance. A product doesn’t sell itself simply because you can provide a list of its advantages. To the contrary, persuasion is a skill that requires emotional attunement to your audience, an ability to convey an impactful message, and to present facts and numbers in a storyline that earns our attention.

This is where the art of persuasion and storytelling comes in – not because we want to manipulate our audience into following our leadership, but because we want to give our ideas the best chance of being heard.

We designed this workshop to help you become a leader who can inspire others to trust their leadership. It provides a safe space to practice your skills of persuasion and teaches you the science of persuasion along with the most effective techniques of business storytelling.

  • Communicating with purpose: Practice starting with why and inspiring with the deeper purpose behind your idea, project, or product.
